Air China NewsHome > About Us > Air China News > Customer Service Information for Terminal 3 Customer Service Information for Terminal 3On March 26th 2008, Air China and Star Alliance member carriers will move to the Beijing Capital International Airport new Terminal 3 (T3). All of Air China’s domestic and international flights will operate out of T3. Check-in counters for Air China flights will close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before departure for international and regional flights. Boarding gates for all flights will close 10 minutes before departure. Customers connecting between T3 and Terminals 1 or 2, should plan for a minimum connecting time of 2-3 hours depending on the flight. Self-service kiosks will be available at check-in to allow passengers to print their boarding passes and select seats. Also, dedicated counters will be available for Air China PhoenixMiles members to offer services such as card issuance, mileage credit and exclusive amenities for Elite members such as a shower, ironing, and internet access. Air China will use a new baggage reconciliation system to enhance baggage handling efficiency as well as an advanced Departure Control system and Ground Operations Command system. |
